Aradippou Explosion: Three Injured at Scrap Metal Facility

An explosion occurred at a scrap metal facility in Aradippou, resulting in injuries to three people. The incident took place shortly before 10:00 AM during unloading operations.

According to initial reports, a 52-year-old Greek Cypriot man arrived at the site with a vehicle to deliver scrap metal. During the unloading process, under circumstances being investigated, an explosion occurred.

The explosion injured the 52-year-old man, a foreign employee of the facility, and another citizen who was there for the same reason. The three injured individuals were transported to Larnaca General Hospital for medical care.

The incident is under investigation by the relevant authorities.
