Aradippou Explosion: Metals from Firing Range as Cause

Metals from an abandoned firing range in Kosi caused the explosion at a metal recycling plant in Aradippou. According to reports, a 52-year-old Greek Cypriot transported the metals to the factory.
The explosion occurred around 9:45 AM during the unloading of the metals. The 52-year-old, a foreign employee, and a citizen were injured. The injured were taken to Larnaca General Hospital. Police are investigating the causes.
The National Guard was not aware of the receipt of metals from the firing range.
