DHIPA Condemns Violence at Limassol Hospital A&E

The Democratic Alignment (DHIPA) strongly condemned the violent incident that occurred at the Accident and Emergency Department (A&E) of Limassol General Hospital on Sunday.

In a statement, DHIPA expressed its solidarity with the healthcare worker who was attacked and with the A&E staff, emphasizing their demanding working conditions.

DHIPA stressed that incidents of violence in healthcare settings are recurring and unacceptable. It called on the authorities to fully implement security measures in A&Es and to immediately investigate the incident, punishing those responsible.

Finally, DHIPA emphasized that healthcare workers deserve respect and safety.
