The defense of the German realtor accused the police of "falsifying evidence" and conducting a "selective investigation" during her trial before the Nicosia Permanent Criminal Court. The 49-year-old is accused of usurping Greek Cypriot properties in the occupied territories.

Police officer Christos Chatzivasileiou testified that he found links to the company "VePa immobilien" on the defendant's profile, where she appeared as director. He also testified that some social media accounts and the company's website have been deleted. He identified tourist complexes such as "Albatros", "Aelita" and "Olive Trees" in Agios Ambrosios, Kyrenia.

Defense attorney Sotiris Argyrou questioned the reliability of the translations of the evidence, arguing that automatic translation tools were used. He accused the witness of "falsifying evidence" and "selective investigation", speaking of "political persecution".

The defense expressed its intention to request a postponement of the trial for at least three months. The trial will continue on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
