Route of Suspect in Deadly Ambush from Tehran to Occupied Territories Under Investigation

Sources in the pseudo-state attempted to implicate the Republic of Cyprus in the case of 36-year-old Daniel Yehonatan Zarug, a suspect in a deadly ambush in Israel, who was arrested in Kyrenia with a fake passport.

A Turkish Cypriot website relayed information from the pseudo-police that Zarug, after the crime in Ashdod on 24/3/24, entered the Republic of Cyprus and then crossed into the occupied territories through a roadblock.

However, an Israeli journalist, citing the Israeli Police, reported that Zarug initially went to Tehran and from there flew to the occupied territories. The validity of this information is being checked.
