Horse Rescued in Poor Condition in Cyprus

The Ecologists Movement, Animal Action Group, responded to reports of a horse found in poor condition. Representatives of the group, in cooperation with the police, went to the location where the animal was being held.

According to a statement, the horse was transferred to a safe place where it will be examined by a veterinarian and provided with the necessary medication. The police are investigating the case based on animal welfare legislation.

The coordinator of the Animal Action Group, Anthi Mouzouri, thanked all those who contributed to the rescue and accommodation of the animal, as well as the local police station for their prompt response. Special thanks are extended to Mr. Adonis Giagkou for his contribution.
