Monastery of Avvakoum Burglarized: Police Investigation Underway

An investigation is underway into the burglary of the Monastery of Avvakoum, following a report by a member of the Ecclesiastical Committee.

According to the Police, the complainant found a hall door open upon arrival. Police officers went to the Monastery and found disorder in the area.

A burglary was initially confirmed, but it remains unknown whether anything has been stolen. Investigations are continuing.
