Avgorou: 41-Year-Old Arrested for Kiosk Robbery

Police have arrested a 41-year-old in connection with a robbery that took place this morning at a kiosk in Avgorou, Famagusta district.

The suspect, wearing a motorcycle helmet, entered the kiosk and, threatening the employee with a hunting rifle, stole a sum of money.

Members of the Xylofagou Police Station and the Famagusta TAE (CID) conducted investigations at the scene. The 41-year-old was located and arrested with a court warrant and placed in custody. Famagusta TAE continues the investigations.
