Louiza Zannetou Acquitted in Alcotest Case

Commissioner of Legislation, Louiza Zannetou, has been acquitted of the charge of failing to provide a sufficient sample in an alcotest.

The Nicosia District Court ruled that Ms. Zannetou is innocent of the charge she faced regarding the test on January 11, 2024.

District Judge Georgia Karamalli ruled that it was not proven that Ms. Zannetou did not make a genuine effort to provide a sufficient sample.
