Police Checks Across Cyprus: 4 Arrests Made

Police conducted targeted operations across Cyprus, leading to the arrest of four individuals.

The operations aimed to prevent criminal activities and ensure public order. During the operations, 809 drivers and passengers were checked, and 26 premises were inspected, resulting in two complaints.

The arrests were related to offenses such as theft by an employee, motorcycle theft, and public insult.

Traffic controls were also carried out, resulting in 372 complaints for traffic violations and 17 investigated cases. Of these, 204 involved speeding. 9 vehicles were detained.

Police operations are continuing with increased presence and targeted checks.
