Police Checks: Dozens of Complaints and Arrests

Police continue their actions and enhanced presence on the road network, conducting more than 600 checks.

The checks resulted in 155 traffic complaints, twelve of which concerned driving under the influence of alcohol. One driver tested positive for drugs.

Three vehicles were detained and seven people were arrested for offenses such as illegal possession of offensive weapons and explosives, drug possession, and illegal stay in Cyprus.

The operations are part of a plan to combat crime.
