Police Warn of New Cryptocurrency Scam

Police are warning the public about a new type of scam aimed at extorting money through phone calls, under the guise of supposed profits from cryptocurrency investments.

The perpetrators claim they can help citizens receive payments from profits earned from their investments. They request access to the victims' bank accounts and then transfer funds to their own accounts.

The Police advise citizens to be especially careful and not to disclose online and bank account passwords to anyone.
