Arkitsa: Investigation into Windshield Wiper Scam by Roma at Port

An investigation has been ordered by the Coast Guard, under the instructions of Shipping Minister V. Kikilias, regarding allegations of a scam at the port of Arkitsa. According to reports, Roma people are approaching drivers, pretending their windshield wipers are damaged, and demanding exorbitant amounts for their replacement.

The investigation was launched following a relevant post on social media, where a citizen reported the incident and his confrontation with a coast guard officer. The citizen claims that the perpetrators mainly target female drivers who are alone.

The Stylida Port Authority is conducting an administrative investigation into the incident.
