Three people, aged 39, 42, and 52, are hospitalized after an explosion at a scrap metal facility in Aradippou. Their condition is serious but not life-threatening.

Police are investigating, and initial findings suggest the explosion was caused by an unexploded military ordnance.

The injured include a Greek Cypriot, a Bulgarian man (with a ruptured spleen), and a Nigerian man. The factory is reportedly operating without a license.

According to reports, the explosion occurred during the unloading of metals from a pickup truck. Bomb disposal experts are examining the area for any other projectiles.
