Aradippou: Injuries After Explosion at Unlicensed Factory

Three people, aged 39, 42, and 52, are hospitalized after an explosion at a scrap metal facility in Aradippou. Their condition is serious but not life-threatening.
According to the police, the explosion was caused by an unexploded military ordnance. A Greek Cypriot sustained injuries to various parts of his body, a man from Bulgaria suffered a ruptured spleen, and a man from Nigeria sustained body injuries.
The factory is reportedly operating without a license. Police and bomb disposal experts are investigating the area.
The incident occurred when a 52-year-old Greek Cypriot man went to the site to deliver scrap metal. The explosion occurred during unloading.
