Aradippou: Police Car Theft and Disciplinary Investigation

A police car was stolen under unbelievable circumstances in Aradippou. Around 1 a.m., the service vehicle was being used for guarding due to foot-and-mouth disease.

A police officer, responsible for guarding, moved away leaving the keys in the vehicle. An unknown person stole the police car. According to Christodoulos Konsolos, Deputy Press Spokesperson of the Police, the police officer chased the perpetrator with a private vehicle and forced him to abandon the police car in a dead end.

A disciplinary investigation has been ordered against the police officer.
