THERMOSOLAR Water Heater Recalled Due to Missing CE Marking

The Department of Electromechanical Services has announced the recall of the THERMOSOLAR BLT 200 GL closed water heater from the market due to the absence of CE marking, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 765/2008.

The distributor, ASPIS SOLAR WATER HEATER SYSTEMS LTD, has voluntarily withdrawn the product. The water heater's specifications are: No. EAH-2025-79 / 06-2025, Type: BLT 200 GL, 190/197 lt, 8 bar, 230 V.

According to the 2021 Law on Certain Aspects Concerning Contracts for the Sale of Goods, consumers are entitled to free repair or replacement of the product. If this is not possible, they have the right to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund.

These rights are valid for two years from the delivery of the product. Consumers are advised to submit a written complaint to the Consumer Protection Service if the seller refuses to comply.
