Attempted Murder in Nicosia Over €2,500 – Perpetrator at Large

The search continues for the perpetrator of the attempted murder that occurred at midnight on Monday in Nicosia, with a 21-year-old from India as the victim.
According to police sources, the victim testified that he owed approximately €2,500 to the perpetrator. The bloody incident followed when the perpetrator and his friends went to the victim's apartment to collect the money. During an argument, the 21-year-old was injured.
A 25-year-old compatriot of the victim was placed under 8-day detention, while the perpetrator, named ANKIT KUMAR, 25 years old, from India, remains at large. Police are investigating the possibility that he fled to the occupied territories.
