Customs Officials in Cyprus Face Threats

The Customs Officers Branch of PASYDY has condemned the increasing threats against the staff and management of the Customs Department. According to the announcement, the threats have intensified dangerously recently.

PASYDY emphasizes that the Department's staff performs a difficult task at the entry and transit points of the Republic of Cyprus, implementing the legislation and safeguarding the interests of the state.

The Branch calls on the state to support the employees and resolve the problems they face, while also calling on employees to continue to perform their work with determination.
