Trial of German Real Estate Agent Adjourned in Property Usurpation Case

The trial of German real estate agent, Eva Isabella Künzel, accused of usurping Greek Cypriot properties in the occupied territories, has been adjourned to September 5th. The adjournment was due to new legal issues that arose, including a recent decision by the European Court.

During the proceedings, the representative of the Prosecution Authority, Anna Matthaiou, mentioned the need to study the European decision. The President of the Court, Nikolas Georgiadis, stressed the importance of the decision, with the defense lawyer, Raphaella Chrysostomou, agreeing to the adjournment.

The court set the new hearing date for September 5th and ordered the defendant to remain in custody.
