Famagusta: 48-year-old Attempted Murder of Colleague – Motive Unknown

A police investigation is underway in Free Famagusta, following an attempted murder against a 61-year-old Greek Cypriot in Vrysoulles. The 61-year-old is in critical condition after an attack by his 48-year-old colleague, who is wanted by the police.

According to initial reports, the 48-year-old allegedly hit the 61-year-old with his car after a verbal altercation. The victim suffered a skull fracture and cerebral hemorrhage and is hospitalized in critical condition at Nicosia General Hospital.

The motives for the attack remain unknown, as the victim is unable to communicate with the authorities and the perpetrator is on the run. Police are investigating the case and searching for eyewitnesses.

The incident occurred on Friday (08/08) in the Famagusta province.
