Aglantzia: Driver at Large a Week After Fatal Accident

A week has passed since the fatal accident in Aglantzia, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Kyriakos Antoniou. The accident occurred when Antoniou's car collided with a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old, with a 23-year-old passenger, on Larnakos Avenue.

Antoniou died when his vehicle crashed into a lighting pole. The 24-year-old driver and his passenger received first aid at the General Hospital and were discharged.

Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances of the accident. A scene mapping was carried out to determine the speed of the 24-year-old's vehicle. Police do not confirm reports of excessive speed.

In contrast to a similar incident in Lakatamia, where a driver was arrested after a fatal pedestrian collision, the driver in Aglantzia remains at large.
