A 48-year-old man is wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Vrysoules, Cyprus. The 61-year-old victim is fighting for his life.

According to the Police, the 61-year-old victim of the attempted murder remains in critical condition following an incident in Vrysoules village, Famagusta district, on Friday.

The suspect, Marinos Kourouniadis, 48, from the Famagusta district, has not yet been located.

Around 3 p.m. on Friday, police received information about an injured man in a village in the Famagusta district. The 61-year-old was taken to Famagusta General Hospital with a skull fracture and cerebral hemorrhage. He was then transferred to Nicosia General Hospital where he underwent surgery. His condition remains critical.

Initial reports indicate that the 61-year-old had a verbal altercation with the suspect. The suspect allegedly struck him with a car, causing serious injuries.
