AADIPA: Investigation into Police Officers Following Complaints About Protest Incidents

The Independent Authority for the Investigation of Allegations and Complaints Against the Police (AADIPA) is launching an investigation into possible criminal and disciplinary offenses by police officers. The investigation follows complaints from citizens regarding the incidents that occurred during a protest outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 2, 2025.

AADIPA announced that it had received several complaints regarding the incidents and decided to conduct a criminal and disciplinary investigation. After obtaining the consent of the Attorney General, the Authority will appoint two criminal investigators to investigate the allegations.
