79-year-old in ICU after golf cart accident in Paphos

A 79-year-old woman is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Paphos General Hospital after a golf cart accident.

The accident occurred yesterday afternoon when a 20-year-old was driving a golf cart on a private road at a golf course in the Paphos district. The 79-year-old was a passenger. Under circumstances being investigated by the Police, the woman fell from the vehicle.

The woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Doctors found that she has hemorrhages and hematomas in the brain. Her condition is considered serious but stable.
