4-Day Detention for Father of 3-Month-Old Infant

A four-day detention order was issued by the Court against the 28-year-old father of the infant, who was admitted to Makario Hospital last Friday and diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome.

The infant underwent surgery following clinical evaluation and radiological examinations. According to the OKYpY spokesperson, the infant's health condition remains extremely critical.

The 28-year-old faces charges of causing grievous bodily harm, child exposure, child abuse under the age of 16, and other acts of causing bodily harm.
