27-year-old Foreign National Illegally Resided with His Child in a Hotel

The Aliens and Immigration Service (YAM) located a 27-year-old national from Congo working illegally in a hotel in Cyprus, where he also resided with his 5-year-old son.

According to the Police, the 27-year-old had been working in the maintenance sector since 2021 without the necessary documents. It was revealed that he lived alone with his child, as the mother had left Cyprus in May.

The child was taken to the hospital for a medical examination, and care was taken over by the organization 'Hope for Children'.
