20-year-old charged with assault on 19-year-old at British Bases

British Bases confirmed that a 20-year-old British woman has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on a 19-year-old compatriot.

The accused appeared in court and was released on bail. She is expected to appear again on September 22, 2025.

The incident occurred two weeks ago near Akrotiri base. The victim sustained serious injuries, but her life is not in danger. The case has drawn interest in Britain as the accused is the daughter of a senior RAF officer.
