“It’s the hardest thing that can happen. You don’t have time to grieve, nor the “right”
She “lost” her father yesterday Marina Satti. This year’s representative of Greece in her competition Eurovision she is going through the most difficult moments of her life, a month before she goes on stage in Malmö. Eleni Hatzidou and the team of Breakfast@Star reported on the sad event, sending their heartfelt condolences to the singer.
“It’s the hardest thing that can happen. You don’t have time to grieve, nor the “right”. You are exposed, you have to go out and do very specific things and show the world that you are happy. Marina Satti is a professional,” said initially Eleni Hatzidou.
“It might stop some appearances but it’s up to a point. She cannot, unfortunately, take her time. But we artists have a magic button that we press and it works,” added the singer.
“You put it aside, of course you’re in pain, but you act like it’s happening to another human being. You do it for the person who has “gone” and is up there”, notes Eleni Hatzidou, while referring to a similar personal case of her own.
“What happened to me was not with a relative, but with a person very close to me, with him Pantelis (Pantelides). I had to sing the day after his death. I couldn’t go back, it was very difficult for me, that was a very special live”, describes Eleni Hatzidou about the sudden death of the late singer.
