Maggie Gyllenhaal revealed the first image of him Christian Bale transformed into Frankenstein’s Monster and Jessie Beckley as a reanimated dead body in her upcoming film ‘The Bride’.
American actress Maggie Gyllenhaal is directing for the second time after 2021’s The Lost Daughter.
In her post on Instagram, she published the photos after a test for the Warner Bros. film.
The actress-turned-director captioned it: “Meet the Bride and Frank,” along with a black heart emoji.
THE film “The Bride” is set in 1930s Chicago and is connected to the iconic story of Frankenstein. Buckley plays a murdered young woman who, brought back to life, surprises her creators as she craves romance and ignites a radical social movement.
Along with Bale and Buckley, Penelope Cruz and Peter Sarsgaard and Annette Bening star.
The film features Joker cinematographer Lawrence Sher.
