At 423,000 the automatic clearances of tax returns
Completed the automatic finalization of the pre-filled statements and the relevant clearances were issued.
With the new procedure, applied for the first time this year, 422,878 declarations were automatically finalized.
From these statements, the following emerges:
• 132,222 taxpayers will receive a tax refund, with an average refund of 128 euros.
• For 237,434 taxpayers the result of the declaration was zero.
• 109,699 taxpayers are required to pay additional tax, with the average tax amounting to 402 euros.
• Based on evidence, 93,204 debtors and 5,093 spouses/Parties of a Cohabitation Agreement have been taxed.
In case correction or completion of the above declarations is required, taxpayers have the possibility to submit, until 7/26 (deadline for submission of declarations), an amending declaration without penalties.
At the same time, to date, 8,036 messages have been sent to taxpayers whose data was changed and it was not possible to pre-fill and automatically finalize their declaration. In the near future, messages for the same reason will be sent to an additional 6,930 taxpayers.
Correspondingly, the notification of taxpayers who submitted declarations, but were sent, after the submission, data from public / private entities that change their final incomes.
Taxpayers who have received or will receive the relevant messages must submit their tax return by 7/26.
It is reminded that income tax declarations are submitted through the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr), in the path Applications > Popular Applications > FEFP Declaration (E1-E2-E3) > Login to the application > “2024 DECLARATION”.
