The girl was taken to the island’s hospital in a semi-conscious state
In the hospital of Rhodes, a 16-year-old woman ended up in a semi-conscious state after drinking too much alcohol in a club on the island.
As her mother claimed, speaking to Alpha, the 16-year-old had gone to the club, where a party was taking place, with her classmates. “My child drank four drinks and collapsed,” said the 16-year-old’s mother. As she added, as soon as she was notified of her child’s health condition, she rushed to the nightclub, where she was told that the restaurant did not serve drinks, that the 16-year-old had not consumed alcohol from the restaurant and that the students had brought the drinks from outside.
But the mother did not remain idly by and called the police. When the police arrived at the store in question in Ialyssos, Rhodes, an EKAV ambulance was already there, receiving the minor in a semi-conscious state. The 16-year-old’s mother, as she also reported to Alpha, filed a complaint, stating that they gave alcohol to her child, although a minor, as a result of which the temporary manager of the nightclub was arrested.
